I originally created this recipe for my website in 2011 many months before becoming pregnant with Audrey. I thought back then it was an appealing and tasty way for adults, especially those not prone to leafy greens, to get a little veggie love into their diets. Little did I know that people who read the post would tell me how their kids were going bananas for this smoothie. I’ve now made it for my own little one and true enough, she loves it as well. It really is a great way for babies and kids to begin exploring nutritious drinks…and who doesn’t love a smoothie? Especially one that’s bright green. Which is another thing I’ve always really liked about this smoothie – it’s actually green. In other words, I’m not hiding anything.
